Integrate Mailchimp with Wajooba

Once Brevo is integrated to your account, the contacts are auto-synced in Mailchimp.

Campaigns can now be managed in Wajooba itself

Mailchimp is a marketing platform that helps you manage and communicate with your audience through email campaigns, automation, and analytics. It’s widely used for creating targeted campaigns and managing customer engagement.

How Does It Work?

Once mailchimp is connected, a sync ensures that contact information flows from Wajooba to Mailchimp. When you add or update a contact in Wajooba, the changes are automatically reflected in Mailchimp. However, updates made directly in Mailchimp will not sync back to Wajooba.

This setup is ideal for using Wajooba as the primary source of contact information while leveraging Mailchimp for advanced marketing campaigns and audience segmentation.

How to Set Up

  1. Connect Your Mailchimp Account to Wajooba:
    • Log in to your Wajooba account.
    • Navigate to Integrations and select Mailchimp.
    • Enter your Mailchimp API key and follow the prompts to authenticate your account.

      Enable the Sync:

    • Go to the Mailchimp integration settings in Wajooba.
    • Turn on the one-way sync option.
    • Select the member groups or categories in Wajooba you want to sync with specific Mailchimp lists.

      Map Fields:

    • Align the data fields between Wajooba and Mailchimp (e.g., "Name," "Email Address") to ensure accurate data transfer.

How Will I Know if the Sync Works?

  • Successful Sync: If a new or updated contact in Wajooba appears in the specified Mailchimp list, the sync is working as intended.
  • Error Indicators: A yellow warning icon ⚠️ next to a contact’s name in Wajooba indicates a sync failure. This is typically due to missing required fields or connectivity issues.

Troubleshooting Sync Issues

If the sync isn’t functioning as expected:

  1. Verify API Connection: Ensure the Mailchimp API key is correctly entered in the integration settings.
  2. Check Contact Records: Confirm that all required fields (e.g., Email Address) are filled in Wajooba.
  3. Re-authenticate Mailchimp: Disconnect the integration in Wajooba and reconnect it using your Mailchimp API key.
  4. Review Field Mapping: Double-check that Wajooba fields are correctly mapped to Mailchimp fields.

By setting up and managing the one-way sync, you can streamline your contact flow between Wajooba and Mailchimp, enabling effective email marketing without duplicating efforts.
