Edit an event
Learn how you can edit an event you created on Wajooba.
You may need to edit the details of the event you’re hosting and facilitating. This happens when there’s a mistake during the setup or you need to postpone the event, change its location, or change the host.
We’ll help you edit an event.
Step 1: Edit an event
Follow these steps to edit the event.
💡 We recommend unpublishing the event before you make any changes. This prevents any event registration from members, especially if the details are incorrect or not updated yet.
- From your Wajooba account, go to Events.
- Select the event you need to edit.
- To edit the event, select the pencil ✏️ icon from the upper right corner of the page.
Step 2: Update the event details
Now that you’re already on the event setup page, let’s start updating your event details. Make sure to follow the guide on how to create an event based on its payment option. These guides should give you detailed instructions and tips when updating the event.
- Paid events
- Free events
- Donation-based events
- Paid events with external registration and payment process
- Events from partners or other organizations
Step 3: Review and submit
Once you’re ready, make sure to double-check and proofread the contents and details of the event.
Submit the updated event and publish the event again to allow new registrations to the event.
