Cancel a membership

Learn how to cancel student memberships on Wajooba.

It’s definitely difficult to say goodbye, but sometimes, some students may opt out and request to cancel their memberships. It can be because of a mistake that happened during their registration, or they no longer want to continue with the course, class, or event.

💡 You may also need to cancel a student's membership when you need to switch them to a different membership that you offer.

Here’s how you can cancel a student's membership.

Cancel the membership

Cancel the membership, so students won't get billed on the next billing cycle of their recurring membership. Follow these steps.

  1. Go to Contacts
  2. Using the search box, find your student’s name, email address, or phone number.
  3. From the student’s profile, go to Memberships.
  4. Under the Action column, select the X icon to cancel the membership.
  5. Select Submit on the confirmation prompt.

This only stops the system from billing the student, especially if they're registered for a recurring membership. This means that this won't affect their access to the course, class. or event after you cancel their membership.

To discontinue their access, you'll need to remove them as an attendee of the course, class, or event. make sure to continue until the end of this guide to know how.
