Connect Mailchimp with Wajooba

Learn how to connect Mailchimp to your account.

Mailchimp is a marketing platform that helps you reach your audience and subscribers through email campaigns. It allows you to manage and talk to your members, customers, and everyone in your organization.

This integration allows you to have a two-way sync between Mailchimp and Wajooba. This gives you the convenience to update the list of contacts when you add a new one on either of the two services.

Step 1: Create a Mailchimp account

Create a Mailchimp account to get started. You can set up a free account with them if you have less than 500 contacts and you’re expecting to send a maximum of 2500 emails per month. To know more, you can visit their pricing page to see its features and the prices that come with it.


Step 2: Gather the integration requirements

You’ll need three things from Mailchimp, so you can get it connected with Wajooba.

  • Audience Name
  • Audience ID
  • API Key

Audience Name and ID

If you’re new to Mailchimp, you’ll need to create and add a few contacts first, so you can set up your Audience. This will allow you to get the Audience Name and ID.

After you create an audience, follow these steps.

  1. From your Mailchimp account, go to Audience and select Audience Dashboard.
  2. Select the Manage Audience dropdown, and select Settings.
  3. Select Audience name and defaults.
  4. Copy the Audience name and Audience ID.

Step 3: Connect Mailchimp with Wajooba

As soon as you get your account set up, we can start connecting Mailchimp with your account. Follow these steps.

  1. From your Wajooba account, go to Settings ⚙, then Integrations.
  2. Under Campaign, select MailChimp.

    If you see a checkmark beside Mailchimp, it means that it already has an account connected to it. If you want to change the account or integration, you can update the integration requirements that are connected to it.

  3. Paste the integration requirements in its corresponding fields.
  4. Select Submit.
